CMBA appoints new executive director

The Central Minnesota Builders Association will welcome a new executive director in 2021.

Wanda Schroeder will take over the position after Executive Director Bonnie Moeller retires, according to a Sept. 23 press release from CMBA. Moeller has been with the CMBA for 38 years.

Schroeder has worked for Cellular 2000 (purchased by Verizon Wireless) and Marco. 

CMBA is a nonprofit trade association established in 1971. It aims to improve the Central Minnesota building industry.

Dubow will add another facility as business increases

Dubow CEO said the business’s orders have doubled since last year and are expected to grow further.

A Sept. 1 news release said the company has already added a 4,000-square-foot facility for inventory and is planning to add a 23,500-square-foot facility as well as demand for its product increases. Other changes have been made to increase printing capacity and speed.

“We’re particularly proud of the fact that, despite COVID-19 challenges, we’ve been able to continue adding quality jobs for the community,” CEO Rob Dubow said in the release.

Dubow is a St. Cloud company offering several textile services, including print, embroidery, applique and more.

BerganKDV team members receive promotions

Three St. Cloud-based BerganKDV staff have been promoted to new roles.

Ashley Hackett is now an accounting services specialist II; Caroline Stutsman is audit director; and Thomas Traeger’s new position is tax senior, according to a Sept. 2 press release from the company.

St. Cloud-based software company acquired

St. Cloud’s Call Scheduler has recently been acquired by a California-based business.
